1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Snapsuka ("the Service"), operated at snapsuka.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Snapsuka provides a platform for collecting photos, videos, and wishes from event guests via QR code. Event hosts can display submissions on a live wall and download all media. The Service is accessible through a web browser without requiring an app download.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content (photos, videos, messages) you upload to Snapsuka. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
  • Violates the privacy or publicity rights of any third party.
  • Features identifiable individuals (faces, voices) without their consent. By uploading such content, you confirm you have obtained the necessary consent from those individuals. Snapsuka is a hosting platform and is not responsible for ensuring consent has been obtained.

5. Event Host Responsibilities

As an event host, you are responsible for:

  • Managing your event settings and guest access.
  • Moderating content submitted to your event when moderation is enabled.
  • Informing your guests that their uploaded content will be visible to other event participants.
  • Ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload or display.

6. Guest Participation

Guests may access events by scanning a QR code or entering an event code. By participating in an event, guests acknowledge that content they upload may be viewed by the event host and other participants, and may be displayed on the event's live wall.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Use the Service to distribute spam or unsolicited content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by Snapsuka and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss of data or content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapsuka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Payments and Refunds

Certain features of the Service require a paid plan. By purchasing a plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase.

  • Billing: Plans are charged as a one-time payment per event. You will receive a confirmation of your purchase by email.
  • Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided no media has been uploaded to the event and the live wall has not been used. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your order details.
  • Plan features and limits: Each plan includes defined upload limits, video quality, and storage duration. These are described at the time of purchase and are non-transferable between events.
  • Storage expiry:Media is permanently deleted after your plan's storage period expires (3 months for Premium, 12 months for Pro). We are not responsible for data loss after expiry.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
